Family Trip to Chiang Mai
Just after we finished our DTS we went on a family holiday to Chiang Mai, it’s about 3 hours drive south west of Ching Rai and it has a lot of cool western stuff to do. We indulged a little in the western cuisine and had our fix of iron from eating beef, went to the Zoo and Night Bazaar and just had some time to relax as a family before we officially started at Home Of The Open Heart.
We had a really good time and are planning to go back in late October again for another long weekend, there are a lot of cool things to take Timothy too like a butterfly park and Tiger park, and swimming is always a great thing to do when it’s hot…
- A hot spring on the way to Chiang Mai, Sean came along for the ride, he’s the one that’s hot in front of the hot spring!
- Mmm! A burger at Burger King…
- Mango, Mango!
- Chiang Mai Night Bazaar
- Timothy feeding some pidgeons… which he later chased!
- A big mountain overlooks Chiang Mai
- At the Zoo, why can’t you feed the animals?
- The most beautiful woman in the world… oh, and a giraffe!
- So that’s what they do with all the poo…..
- They even have Pandas, be warned Adelaide, not a thing like Kung Fu Panda, dissapointed! Very Dissapointed!
- Miriam bravely feed the elephant
- An eagle of some kind?
- Timothy liked to chase the Penguins
- A Temple near our hotel
